General Information
Counts
Displays the number of pages, words, characters, and sentences in the current document. The Counts statistics may differ from the Averages statistics because the latter do not include incomplete sentences.
Averages
Displays words per setence and characters per words averages for the current document. The Averages statistics do not include incomplete sentences.
Readability
When checking spelling and grammar in the current document, it will display information about the reading level of the document, including the following readability scores. Each readability score bases its rating on the average number of syllables per word and words per sentence.
Flesch Reading Ease Score
Rates text on a 100-point scale; the higher the score, the easier it is to understand the document. The Flesch score relies on the number of syllables and sentence lengths to determine the reading ease of the document. For most standard documents, aim for a score of approximately 60 to 70. A score in the range of 60 to 70 corresponds to 8th/9th grade English level. A score between 50 and 60 corresponds to a 10th/12th grade level. Below 30 is college graduate level. To give you a feel for what the different levels are like, most states require scores from 40-50 for insurance documents. More information on Flesch Reading Ease Score.
Fog Scale Grade Level Score
Similar to the Flesch scale in that it compares syllables and sentence lengths. 'Foggy' words are words that contain 3 or more syllables. A fog score of 5 is readable, 10 is hard, 15 is difficult, and 20 is very difficult. More information on Fog Scale Grade Level.
Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Score
Rates text on a U.S. grade-school level. For example, a score of 8.0 means that an eighth grader can understand the document. For most standard documents, aim for a score of approximately 7.0 to 8.0. More information on Flesch-Kincaid Reading Grade Level.
General
Displays the subject, author's e-mail link, date the document was written, school level of the document, and grade the author recieved. Also displays the status of the document, total views from users, and rating by users. The subject, grade, and school level has been designated by the author and maybe not be actuate to the actual subject, grade, and school level of the document.

Allows you to download the document in the following formats: Microsoft Word, plain text, Palm Doc, and Adobe PDF. Also allows you to download the document in its original format. More information on free viewers for Microsoft Word, Palm Doc, and Adobe PDF.
Tools
Allows you to e-mail the document to yourself or a friend, print the document in a printer friendly format, and add the document to your favorite list. Also allows you to see how to cite the document in MLA and APA format, find related articles similar to the document, and comment or view comments from other users on the document.
Bibliography and Works Cited
Displays bibliography and works cited for the document in MLA and APA format. More information on MLA and APA format.

Displays the top keywords related to the document.
